For my final in my illustration class, our teacher allowed us to choose our own project. I took advantage of this opportunity to take my skills and apply them into a whole new category : textile design. Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite places of all time, and thought that my style of illustration would match perfectly with theme of the store.

My inspiration behind my pattern was vintage wallpaper.

I knew that i could take the pattern and make it a little more up to date. When i approached my art director with this he challenged me into making it not only a pattern that is visually pleasingly, but also tricks the eye.
